Grounded. Subtle. Real.

We carry inside us the wonders we seek outside us. ~Rumi
To be grounded is to recognize that God is not separate from us, nor distant, nor reserved for some higher attainment. God is present now, as the very essence of our being. We do not come into alignment with It by striving, but by remembering that we are never apart from It.
There is a subtle presence within all things—a quiet intelligence that does not force, does not hurry, and does not compel. It simply is. When we become still enough to notice, we discover that this presence is the ground of our own consciousness. It is the place from which all clarity arises, and to which all confusion returns for resolution.
The mind, left to itself, tends toward complexity. It seeks to solve, to arrange, to control. Yet the deeper Reality asks none of this. It invites us to rest in a simple awareness: that there is a power for good, and it is already active within us. To be grounded is to trust this without strain and to allow it to express through us naturally and without obstruction.
Here we are not withdrawn from life, but more fully engaged in it. We act, but without anxiety. We choose, but without fear. There is a quiet assurance that the same intelligence which orders the stars is guiding even the smallest details of our experience.
To be real is to live from this center, rather than from all the shifting appearances of the outer world. Appearances change, conditions fluctuate, but the underlying Truth remains steady and whole.
Grounded, then, is not a place we reach, but a condition we embrace. Subtle, because it cannot be forced. Real, because God does not change.
And in accepting this, we find that what we have been seeking has always been seeking us.
Affirmation:
Today I am softly returning to the quiet center of my being. I trust in the Real as my living reality! I stand where I am and that is enough!
