Truth

There are two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way, and not starting.

When we touch, know and understand something inside of us that lies beyond reasoning, probabilities, opposing interests, or scientific knowledge, something that resonates within us so much, that when we know it, we can never ever unknow that Truth. At this stage we have reached a touchstone, which we need to share, teach or simply vibrate through our being.

One of the great wisdom teachers, peace advocates and  Zen-Buddhists of our time, Thich Nhat Hanh, who very recently made his transition into the higher realm of unconditional Love and the eternal unfoldment of Life, pointed to this Truth with these words:

“When you plant lettuce, if it does not grow well, you don't blame the lettuce. You look for reasons it is not doing well. It may need fertilizer, or more water, or less sun. You never blame the lettuce. Yet if we have problems with our friends or family, we blame the other person. But if we know how to take care of them, they will grow well, like the lettuce. Blaming has no positive effect at all, nor does trying to persuade using reason and argument. That is my experience. No blame, no reasoning, no argument, just understanding. If you understand, and you show that you understand, you can love, and the situation will change.”

Love is a universal solvent! Through our own spiritual growth, through prayer, meditation, Life Visioning, sacred service, spiritual study, and fellowship we open ourselves to more love and become more loving in return. From this place we are not asking to get anything but to simply let Love work through us.

Love transforms! It either elevates and supports that which is Love already or it dissolves that which does not serve us any longer. Love is here right now! Can you feel it?

Affirmation:
The Love that I am is whole, perfect and complete. Nothing can be added onto this Love or be taken away from it. Love is here right now!
