Your Life is Precious

There is but One Life, and that Life is God—whole, perfect, and forever unfolding. We are not a separate fragment adrift in a cold universe; we are all unique, irreplaceable centers through which the Divine Presence becomes aware of Itself. Life is the eternal activity of the Infinite Mind expressing Itself through us.

Because this is so, your life is sacred beyond measure!

Every breath you take is the Spirit breathing. Every thought you think is the activity of Universal Intelligence seeking greater expression. The body that houses you is the temple of the living God; the mind that reasons is the finite end of an infinite Mind. Nothing about you is accidental. The stars themselves are not more precious than the consciousness that looks out through your eyes.

To know this is to live with reverence. What you recognize in yourself, you experience! This is why we affirm daily that our life is the life of God, and the outer circumstances will rearrange themselves to reflect that Truth. Abundance, health, love, and joy are not distant rewards; they are the natural out picturing of a life that knows its Source.

You are here for a purpose that only you can fulfill. No other soul can speak your word, love with your heart, or create with your particular genius. Therefore, guard your days as the priceless gift they are. Therefore, speak only words that heal. Think only thoughts that build. Act only from the awareness that the One Life lives through you.

In this recognition, every moment becomes holy. Your life is precious because it is God’s life individualized. Live it fully, gratefully, and without apology. The Infinite has chosen to be you — for a little while — and that is enough to make the entire cosmos pause in wonder.
