The Journey

My teachings are a finger pointing to the moon. Do not get caught in thinking that the finger is the moon. It is because of the finger that you can see the moon. ~The Buddha

Everything is impermanent. Our physical presence is impermanent, our thoughts are impermanent and our emotions are impermanent. This also means that all feelings of anger, fear, anxiety and not-enoughness are impermanent as well. All of our perceptions are impermanent.

I used to treat my thoughts and feelings as if they were special friends with their own separate self; friends I depended on because otherwise I feared the fear of not being. Yet there is only one Self, which is God, and nothing is separate from It.

This means that impermanence is also a sacred gift! It carries the gift of birth and re-birth. It allows me to bring the realm of infinite possibilities into manifestation. Indeed I carry the power of transformation in me in every moment. Any new thought, any new action, any new inter-action gives me an opportunity to shed an old skin and leave behind what does not serve me and to embrace the gift of newness in the here and now. We all are that powerful that we can reincarnate in every moment, which allows us to become a new being. It is up to our free will.

And yet the freshness of this moment, its newness is impermanent as well and must transform. Everything unfolds within God, and everything unfolds cradled in the Love-Energy that is God. All unfoldment, all impermanence is held by Love and in Love. Everything changes as a Love-Dance; and because this Love-Dance does not have a beginning or an end I wake up to the newness of this moment and open my eyes to recognize a glorious dance floor under my feet and a beautiful full-moon sky over my head. I AM on an ever changing, ever unfolding journey and this is why Life is eternal.

Affirmation:

Today I dance freely and I clearly see the moon overhead. I find peace and joy in the transformation of the newness of this moment! What a glorious journey it is!
