One Theater, Many Seats

Imagine you are sitting in a movie theater and you are watching an emotionally gripping, gut punching performance. There are many characters on this magnificent screen, yet you especially resonate with one of them, who is captivating and dear to your heart. At one point as you look over your shoulder you notice something magnificent as your eyes adjust to the darkness around you. To your great surprise the actor you are following on the screen sits almost right beside you!

To your amazement this actor seems as surprised to find you in this theater as you are to notice him. You turn your attention back to the screen to look more closely just to be sure. There are other great characters playing out their roles and as you turn your attention back to the people around you, you see that there are more of these fantastic performers with you in this theater.

Here they all are. The most memorable characters, the most iconic actors, the beautiful, the powerful, the heroic, despicable, hilarious and downright barking characters who have ever graced this wonder-filled screen. You recognize Mode’s more than eccentric personality, McMurphy improving a commentary, and a hero’s immortal line: “What we do in life, echoes in eternity!”

After watching for a little while longer you notice, that you are a character in this more than universal production as well. Whether you perceive yourself as big or small does not matter. You are there on the screen and only you can play the role you gave yourself. You are perfect, which is why you get the attention from your peers. Although you know that you are in the picture but not of it, you feel clearly the love and compassion for all your collaborators. All eight billion of them.
